Leading Virtual Teams: Increasing Virtual Work Effectiveness

Organizations around the world are realizing the benefits of being linked virtually through technology. This live-online program addresses the challenges that team members and their leaders face as they learn ways to establish meaningful connections with one another that result in high levels of trust, inclusion, and success. This program provides virtual leaders and team members with tools and techniques to increase effectiveness and to take advantage of the new opportunities this technology allows. The course is ideal for members of the same organization, however, attending individually is an effective way to increase awareness of the unique needs of those who are virtually connected. Research shows that virtual teams can outperform co-located teams if they utilize new skills and processes to accomplish results. GISC's approach to connecting virtually provides the unique skills and perspective needed by leaders and their teams to make the transition to successfully working virtually. In this program we address the challenges many team members report such as feelings of isolation, alienation, and detachment associated with virtual teamwork.

Live online from 12:00-15:00 Tuesday 1 November 2016 - Thursday 3 November
